Just a few minutes from Termini Station, you can access any part
of Rome quickly and easily from the doorstep of the 2 star Hotel
Scott House. Termini is where the metro lines converge, as well
as most of the city’s bus routes and all national rail.
On foot you can reach the Colosseum and Roman Forums, Santa Maria
Maggiore and Piazza Venezia, the Trevi Fountains and the trendy
district of San Lorenzo in leisurely strolls or within a couple
of stops on the metro.
The Vatican and St. Peter’s are a little further afield –
6 metro stops to be precise, 7 for the Vatican Museums, all on the
other side of the River Tiber, where you’ll also find the
fashionable district of Trastevere and therein, a multitude of fine
restaurants, boutiques and bars. The Stadio Olimpico is just to
the north of the centre but will take about an hour on a match day.
